Herb Sweet Marjoram #4033
Origanum marjorana, Is a hardy perennial and a milder relative to oregano with a savory flavor. It grows 3 to 4′ tall and is a native to Russia. Large spans of fiery red scarlet flowers bloom mid-summer and likes full or partial sun. Makes a great cut flower with long stems.

Sweet marjoram takes 7 to 14 days to germinate and require light to germinate, for this reason, sow seeds on the surface of a dampened growing medium and avoid over-watering. Start indoors in February or March and transplant to garden or containers in a warm, sunny area and trim back once flowering starts to promote bushy plants.
