Inula helenium A beautiful perennial that can grow 6ft tall. Large yellow flowers part of the sunflower family Asteraceae. Also known as horse-heal or elfdock . Roots are harvested and used for medicinal purposes. Grows well in Nova Scotia and has been on our farm for a number of years now.
