Helianthus annuus Plants can reach 10′ high! Large yellow flowers. Children love these and they make a great background plant or hedgerow in your garden. Birds also love them. Harvest the seed for feed, oil, birdseed, or eating. Nice large grey striped seeds.

There are no chemicals here. Being an organic farm, we don’t use any chemical sprays or other chemical inputs in our farming practices, no pesticides, herbicides, chemical cleaning agents, or growth accelerators.

All of our seeds are heirloom varieties. Every fall, we germinate all the varieties that we grow and work to ensure that they have high viability and also to help maintain and protect some species that are endangered. We do not grow any hybrid vegetable or herbs. These practices ensure our seeds are well adapted and vigorous.
