Herb Musk Mallow #4027
Malva moschata, this Satiny pink-flowering perennial, forms a bushy mound of deeply-cut leaves with a pleasant musky fragrance. Long bloom period, attractive to butterflies. Young leaves & blossoms can be used to make a nutritious, healing, soothing tea for the lungs, cough & stomach, or as a skin wash. Tolerates a wide range of soil conditions & will bloom in sun or shade.
Plants grow 2 – 3 feet tall and performs best in well drained soil and full sun. Deadhead to keep plants blooming from early summer until fall. Pollinators will like the musk mallow and it is virtually free of pests or disease issues. Self seeding occurs if plants are happy.
Without a doubt, one of my favorites around the farm for it’s needs and constant blooming. Buy these once and enjoy them year after year.
