Flower Nasturtium Empress of India #9001

Tropaeolum majus & T. minus Another spectacular heirloom nasturtium, this classic Victorian variety has amazing dark blue-green foliage and bright crimson red flowers with a dark centre. Plant grows 12-18″, leaves and flowers are edible with a tangy, peppery flavor. Suitable for containers, hardy annual.

There are no chemicals here. Being an organic farm, we don’t use any chemical sprays or other chemical inputs in our farming practices, no pesticides, herbicides, chemical cleaning agents, or growth accelerators.

All of our seeds are heirloom varieties. Every fall, we germinate all the varieties that we grow and work to ensure that they have high viability and also to help maintain and protect some species that are endangered. We do not grow any vegetable or herb hybrids. These practices ensure our seeds are well adapted and vigorous.
