Flower Dwarf Plains Coreopsis
Coreopsis tinctoria
Annual. The Dwarf Plains Coreopsis is shorter than our Plains Coreopsis, but loses none of it’s beauty. Yellow petals surround deep red centers that stay in bloom until heavy frost. Dwarf Plains Coreopsis will produce in just about any soil conditions. Makes an excellent border flower or addition to any wildflower garden. It’s resistant to deer and rabbits, and attractive to beneficial insects such as bees and butterflies.
