Corn Ashworth #1906 Zea mays (80 days) Germination in 7 to 10 days. Famous heirloom corn, the first yellow variety developed for the table (the standard was white at the time). Introduced in 1902, this time-tested, 8-row
variety has real corn taste and a lengthy harvest season. Large, golden kernels on good-sized cobs.
Certified organic 65+ seeds/pkt
Direct sow seeds in late spring once soil temperature has reached at least 65 degrees F (18 degrees C). Cobs mature not by typical day length or size of plant but by accumulated heat units and plants will grow 6 to 8ft so keep these factors in mind when choosing a site to plant. Plant corn in dense blocks of at least 4 rows to get good germination.
