Allium schoenoprasum Wonderful, mild green onion flavor. Very easy to grow and can be started almost any time of the year. Can divide clumps in the spring and if given protection they can be harvested all winter long. Beneficial insects love the edible flowers. Soil temperature for germination of 19degrees Celsius.
