Celery Tall Utah #3000
110 days. Apium graveolens Thick, crisp, medium-dark green grow to 12 -14″. Thick stalks and delightful, full flavor. These are a very high quality Celery and we use the entire plant leaves and all when cooking. . Introduced in 1953; dependable, beautiful, and still a standard.
Start indoors in late winter to mid-spring. Soil temperature: 16-24°C Seeds can take up to 20-30 days for germination.
Starting
Sow seeds no more than (¼”) deep, 3 seeds per pot, and thin to the strongest plant. Plant out in rich, moist soil as celery is a heavy feeder, space 12″ apart and water frequently.
