Beans Canadian Wild Goose #1015
(85 Days) Phaseolus vulgaris A lovely white and grey speckled small dry bean with an orange-brown ring around the hilum or eye. Self-supporting habit, 4-6 beans per pod, small to medium sized. Does well with minimal tending, good productivity. This variety is listed as Rare/Endangered. Very hard to find. We are one of the few Canadian seed companies preserving this old bean.

Planting Depth: 1″ Will germinate in: 7-10 Days. Likes sun or shade Legumes like well-drained soil rich in organic matter and a moderate amount of nutrients. Water lightly at planting, medium at flowering, and heavily throughout harvest time. Avoid overhead watering which can promote disease. Sow directly once soils have reached at least 65F, preferably after the last frost. Make small, successive plantings every 10 days for a continuous harvest. Bush beans will produce all of their fruit over a few weeks, then stop producing. Leave the pods on the plant until they have completely dried. Store dry, shelled beans in an airtight container.
