Description
Tomato Early Latah
55 days from transplant. Solanum lycopersicum Determinate. Here is a great tomato with a good flavor for those short seasons we sometimes get in the Maritimes. Another variety we have grown here for years and continues to never let us down. Red fruit approx. 2″ diameter on stocky plants with few leaves.
Certified organic 30+ seeds per packet
Start seeds indoors 6-7 weeks before last frost. Soil temp needs to be between 25-35°C and tomato seedlings must be grown under good lights for 10 to 12 hours a day. Sow 1/4″ deep in a light soil mix; harden off & plant out 24 – 48″ apart, in rich soil, after all danger of frost is over. Tomatoes benefit from staking.
