Description
Pepper Tangerine Pimento #4102
(80 days) Capsicum annuum Sweet Perhaps the provenance of this seed grown in the North Carolina mountains boosts its cold-climate adaptation. Early and productive with an enjoyable rich fruity taste. Up to 15 to 20 peppers per plant. Early and prolific even in bad years. This has been a steadfast producer for us here and is definitely one of our favorites. They store very well by freezing or dehydrating.
Start peppers indoors 6 weeks before last frost date and grow under bright grow lights for 12 to 14 hrs per day. Soil must be 25 to 29C for good germination and it can take 10 to 21 days for seeds to germinate. Only transplant to the garden once night time temperatures are above 12C.
