Greek Oregano, Origanum vulgare is a favorite perennial of ours that offers pungently-flavored leaves for cooking. Plants are very hardy when established and impart a wonderful aroma in the garden with its tiny white flowers. Our established oregano beds have been in place for many years and they keep coming back year after year.

Start indoors with a constant soil temp of 60 degrees F and germination occurs within 7 to 14 days. Oregano seeds need to be surface sown, not buried and once established the oregano seedlings can be transplanted out to the garden in late spring to early summer in a sunny location..
