Turnip, Laurentian #2015
Old, standard, heirloom swede turnip for storage. Large, purple-shouldered, uniform globes with creamy yellow flesh. Great winter keeper. Turnips have the highest calcium content of all root crops. Sow outdoors as soon as possible in spring. Plant 1„4-1„2″ deep and 2″ apart in rows 24″ apart. Germinates in 7-14 days. Thin to 4-6″ apart. Sow every 2 weeks for continuous harvest.
