Description

Tomato, Bonny Best Indeterminate #8019

80 – 85 days. Medium sized up to 8oz crack resistant, firm and tasty. Heavy yields that grow in clusters. Good for sauces, canning or slicing. Plants grow 4 – 6ft and the tomatoes are quite uniform in size and shape. These do exceptionally well for us and have that true old tomato flavor that is missing from the hybrids on the store shelves. Introduced in 1908

Certified organic  30 seeds/pkt

Seeds need to be started indoors 6-7 weeks before last frost. Sow 1/4″ deep in a light soil mix; harden off & plant out 24 – 48″ apart, in not too rich a soil, after all danger of frost is over. Tomatoes benefit from staking.

Cochrane Family Farm is a Certified organic family farm that follows permaculture practices to continually improve the soil. We do not use any chemical sprays or other chemical inputs and only grow hand tended heirloom varieties of vegetables, herbs, and flowers. We do not grow any hybrids. Because of these practices our seeds are well adapted and vigorous.
