(26 days) This popular plum – colored round radish is true – to – type and color and very uniform, almost the size of a ping – pong ball. Crisp white flesh has a good sweet taste with only a little heat. When Growing radishes under row covers to avoid root – maggot damage , Plum Purple has been called the radish most tolerant to slightly shaded row – cover conditions.
