Medium height, stocky plants with average yields of firm meaty fruit 2 - 3" in size. Developed in Kentville Nova Scotia in the early sixties. Red tomato with green shoulders. We started growing this from seeds given to us from Wysmykal Farm in
Certified organic 30+ seeds per packet
Start seeds indoors 6-7 weeks before last frost. Soil temp needs to be between 25-35°C and tomato seedlings must be grown under good lights for 10 to 12 hours a day. Sow 1/4" deep in a light soil mix; harden off & plant out 24 – 48" apart, in rich soil, after all danger of frost is over. Tomatoes benefit from staking.
