60 to 80 days Capsicum annuum A very tasty and early maturing hot Jalapeno type pepper, with the same delicious flavor as other jalapenos, but a lot less heat. Decent number of peppers per plant. 6000 to 8000 Scoville units. Can be picked when either green which is more common or red.

Start peppers indoors 6 weeks before last frost date and grow under bright grow lights for 12 to 14 hrs per day. Soil must be 25 to 29C for good germination and it can take 10 to 21 days for seeds to germinate. Only transplant to the garden once night time temperatures are above 12C.
