(85 days) .Very sweet, squat, thick walled pepper. Compact plants with very high yields. Pimento peppers do very well for us here outside in sheltered areas with lots of sun.

Peppers require lots of heat to do well so they benefit in our climate from greenhouse growing. If planting outdoors, choose an area that gets full sun and is protected.
Start peppers indoors 6 weeks before last frost date and grow under bright grow lights for 12 to 14 hrs per day. Soil must be 25 to 29C for good germination and it can take 10 to 21 days for seeds to germinate. Only transplant to the garden once night time temperatures are above 12C.
