Start seeds indoors before last frost or direct seed after risk of frost has passed. Plant 1/2? deep in moist, rich well draining soil with a soil temp of 21degrees Celsius. Germination takes 8 to 14 days. Basil requires warm soil to germinate and once germinated it requires lots of sun and warmth. Harvest frequently to keep your plants producing and pinch off flowers to prolong harvesting.
