Herb Anise Hyssop #4000
Our Favorite! Agastache foeniculum Beautiful 3-4′ perennial with strong licorice/anise scent and flavor, with stunning showy purple flower spikes. Makes a great addition to flower beds and is a favorite bee and butterfly plant. Makes a very delicious tea, alone or combined with other herbs and both the leaves and flowers are edible. Also nice in salad or for garnish. As a tea it can induce sweating and strengthen the heart, also used for colds, fevers and as a cough medicine. Sow 1-11/2″ apart in well drained warm light soil. A member of the mint family and self sows easily.
