Flower Bullseye Spilanthes
Acmella oleracea
Annual. Very easy to grow flower. A flowering plant native to South America. Known also as the toothache plant, electric daisy and buzz buttons. Unique flower head that grows in clusters, shaped somewhat like small bells, they have a bright reddish orange tip on a yellow flower. Blooms into the fall, edible and whole plant has medicinal uses. Numbs toothache pain and helps suppress ulcers of the mouth. Makes a great plant for filling in beds or a border around beds and walkways. Very pollinator friendly. Leaves are used in salads to add a bit of zing.

Start indoors 6 weeks before last frost for best results. Direct seed 1/4″ deep in spring after last frost, requires full sun.
